We all agree on the necessity of compromise.
We just can't agree on when it's necessary to compromise.

Rest In Peace - Gary Gygax

Gary Gygax (7-27-1938 / 3-4-2008) co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons died this morning in his home in Lake Geneva Wisconsin at the age of 69.

“I would like the world to remember me as the guy who really enjoyed playing games and sharing his knowledge and his fun pastimes with everybody else.” - Gary Gygax

This quote by Gary is pretty much the sum of the entire gaming experience. That’s really all this is about. Getting together to share the fun. Spreading the fun of the games to others and haring our stories and adventures.

What can you say at a time like this? To put it simply had it not been for uncle Gary none of us would be here enjoying this time together. I wouldn’t be writing this, you wouldn’t be reading it. some time long before now we would have lost our love for fantasy an gaming. Put aside all of this as simple kids stuff and moved on. For most of us D&D always brings us back to the hobby world. We may dabble in other games, other past times, but in the end we all come back around to D&D eventually.

Thank you Gary Gygax for a great game.
