We all agree on the necessity of compromise.
We just can't agree on when it's necessary to compromise.

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

Thursday, March 22nd, 2007 by Poor Knight

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is an upcoming MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) game based on Games Workshop’s popular tabletop game. It stands out as one of the most highly anticipated games to come out this year. Game Daily recently did an article with members of the Mythic Entertainment development team comparing the Empire and Chaos factions. Several things about the article I found very interesting - so interesting in fact that it makes me think that this could be the MMO I’ve been waiting for.

To Chaos or Not to Chaos - Nurgle Me This

Monday, March 19th, 2007 by Tryke

Hello again ladies and gentlemen. Wait a minute this is warhammer I’m talking about, whats going on guys? As always, I’m Tryke and welcome back to the next installment in our series To Chaos or Not to Chaos. Today we’ll be sloshing back to the North Lands to talk to the Lord of Languish, Nurgle. But first, I’d like to thank all of you who sent condolences and flowers for the family of Gimri Whitehorn. Rest assured the flowers have been all sent back but his family would like you all to know that financial donations have been used to name an ale keg in his honor. On a related note, we are still actively interviewing applicants to fill the position of the late Gimri and we hope to have the position filled within the week; if we get any applicants. In the interim, we’ve managed to procure the services of the mighty Tyrion this week who will ensure that the Baron of Bile keeps his hand off of yours truly. So, without further ado, get those sanitary masks and lets zip off to Nurgle land.

To Chaos or Not to Chaos - Khorne; up close and personal.

Tuesday, March 13th, 2007 by Tryke

There is a common misconception in the Warhammer community by the non-chaos types that anyone who chooses to take up the mantle of a skull wearing chaos cheeba monkey is a power gamer to the nth degree. I should know, I’ve been one of those for most of my Warhammer life. I admit it, I’m an anti-chaosite; or is that anti-chaotic? Anyway, if you find me at a Warhammer tournament, following another brutal smackdown by the Chaotic Ones, you’re not likely to find me in a charitable mood about our friends to the North. Today though, I really want to step back and look at each of the Chaos Gods starting with Khorne. Over the next couple of articles we’ll examine the army types, play styles, and miniature ranges in an effort to better understand the plague, oops sorry, the attraction that chaos holds. At the end of it all I may still be inclined to link a certain “F” word with Chaos; but at least I’ll know why. So sit back, find yourself a skull to wear, and lets trek up North to the Chaos Wastes.

Turn 6 has just ended, your army lies in ruins and there standing amongst the carnage of your carefully constructed army is your well painted mage lord.
